People will check with us to see if you are a legitamate helper. This is why we should know about you and that you will help.

Hold a party.
You can hold one at your home or at a public place.
The goal is to get each person who comes to pay a fee for coming.
Set the fee to cover the costs of the party and to raise funds for this cause.
You invite twenty persons and they each give ten or twenty dollars for coming
over and above the cost of the party you can raise a substantial amount.
Alternatively, hold it at an area club or party place. Work a deal with them.
Try to get two hundred or more to come.
Have the Club charge you a basic amount per person for their catering the
event in their location. Let there be basic food and refreshments for every one
and let them charge extra for extras. Have entertainment. Of you do it at the
right place they will have that anyway. Then you sell tickets to the event. Set
them at thirty for one or fifty for a couple. If you get 200 to come, you will raise
a lot. Get a local radio station to help you. Contact us about information on
how to do it.
Is a famous or popular person in the community? Invite them.
Get each person at the party to pledge to give three dollars a month for the
cause. There are very few who could not afford to do this.
Set up a Festival or Street Fair.
We have a whole set of ideas and instructions on how to do this. It helps to get a group of persons to gether who you know will be responsible and carry it out.
This is the sort of thing you can start and year by year build up. It is hard to have a succesful event unles you get a radio or TV satation involved and have activities and prizes. We have many ideas fomr others onthis and wil be glad to share them with you. The key is toplan it for the right time and to promiote it heavily in advance. get other groups to participate. Look for a ride company to participate. If you can get a good one that often helps draw a crowd. However you can draw persons and crowds in other ways also.
